Pender West Capital Partners Inc. invests equity capital in middle market private companies.  We target companies with exceptional management teams and excellent growth opportunities.  Typical acquisition candidates include non-strategic business divestitures from private or public corporations and private owners interested in selling or capitalizing closely held businesses.

Pender West is a financial investor, prepared to work closely with the management team of the acquisition target.  Although the partners of Pender West collectively have over 100 years of operating, financial, and strategic decision making expertise, we will only invest in companies where we can partner with and develop a strong working relationship with management.  Pender West will facilitate meaningful management ownership either through direct management investment, or as circumstances require, ownership earn-in.  Each of the partners of Pender West has a significant personal investment in our acquisitions ensuring management of our unwavering commitment.

We are active, strategic investors looking for ways to assist management in the company’s growth and to enhance shareholder value.  Our partners, in addition to private and public company management experience, have extensive financial expertise in all corporate finance activities including corporate reorganizations, capital raising, and mergers and acquisitions. 

We will not become involved in the day-to-day operational activities as we recognize the talents and expertise of the management teams.  We are, however, available as required in the corporate strategic decision making process and ongoing acquisition, divestiture, and financing requirements
of the company.

With an office in Vancouver, British Columbia, our investments are primarily targeting companies in (but not limited to) Western Canada and the Western United States.
